Sunny Puerto Vallarta

Laurel and I are currently sunning and drinking in sunny Mexico.
It is a pretty amazing place, lots of tequila, sun and food. The only major problem with this place is all the damn time-share sharks. You cannot walk 10 feet without someone trying to get you to check out their time-share. Jeez.

I stopped at a store downtown today to check out the local tequilas (since I plan on bringing back about 4+ bottles) and I sampled about 5 or 6 of them. (luckily they were not full shots)

After I deicided that one very nice Anjeo that I liked, this guy goes into his time-share spiel where I could get 4 bottles of tequla plus cash etc.... if I would check out the Hotel Mayan.

On a side note, the Hotel Mayan is right next door to the Westin where we are staying and they are extreemly loud and rude. And the place looks like crap. I would never stay there.

Anway, we had several Margs and some food downtown today and currently I'm feeling pretty damn good. So good in fact that the bar downstairs has happy hour from 6 until 7 (2 for 1 margs) and I plan on camping out there in about 2 hours.

Sitting outside today at the beach drinking a MASSIVE marg it made me think about how much fun it would be if Bruce, Gary, Wade, Evan, Jeff, Lee, Dennis etc... were here dowing a few them selves. Pretty dang nice.

Puerto Vallarta is not as cheap as say, Ecuador, but its not too bad. Nice and warm, great beaches and a lot of fun. I talked with a couple from Portland today that gave me the lay of the land. Did abit of haggling with the locals (a lot easier when you are half toasted). I'm no Jose Louis, but I did my best.

Well, you all have fun (I know I will) and and hopefully I will have enought $$ left to catch the cab back to the airport!
